By now, you’ve probably watched or at least heard of the Netflix series “13 Reasons Why,” which is based on Jay Asher’s novel and has graphic depictions of rape, bullying, and suicide. This show has generated a great deal of discussion along with widely divided reactions to the topic of suicide.

No matter what your stance is, we need to talk about suicide.

Community Care Services invites you to help us reduce the stigma of suicide and depression –let’s talk about it! Please join us for a roundtable conversation about the popular Netflix series and book. The roundtable will be facilitated by Laura Boros, MA, LLP, Community Care Services;  and Sandra Kluk, LMSW, Taylor School District.

Pizza, salad and water will be provided.

Open to interested students, parents, teachers and community members.
