Job Type: full time
Provides both medical and clerical support to the assigned program and/or unit.
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; certified in field preferred but not required.
A minimum of six months of experience in a related position is required.
SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Proficient with productivity software and the ability to use general office equipment. Good command of grammar and phone skills are essential.
Occasional requirements: Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 25 pounds. Climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending.
Frequent requirements: Sitting for long periods of time.
Occasional requirements: Intermittent or cyclical work pressures.
Periodic requirements: Pressures related to meeting deadlines, fulfilling scheduling requirements, etc.
Frequent requirements: Attention to detail/concentration on figures, paperwork, data, etc. Simultaneous handling of multiple projects. Distracting influences such as people, telephone calls, noises and so forth.
UNDESIRABLE/DISAGREEABLE WORKING CONDITIONS
Periodic requirements: May be required to work evening hours.
Frequent requirements: Exposure to clients who may carry contagious illness or cause bodily harm.
