Focused on welcoming consumers to the Agency in preparation for intake. Assists in the development and implementation of services for Agency consumers to their overall comprehensive care program.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in the human services field and/or life experiences indicating readiness to work with the chronically mentally ill and/or chemically dependent population.
SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Must be or have been a Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse Consumer. Certified as a Peer Support Specialist in the state of Michigan (certification can be obtained within 6 months of employment), have a valid State of Michigan Driver’s License and access to a vehicle to use for agency business.
